I thought I'd start this party with a good ole icebreaker I used to use during remote learning.

I’m Summer Koester (rhymes with luster). I’m a neurodivergent writer, artivist, teacher, and cultural misfit. Today, due to school upheaval, I’m feeling between a 6 and 7. It feels like I’m building a house on fault lines. I hope you all are faring better!

Hi Summer, I'm John, in the UK and undertake therapeutic life story work with children and young adults. Bowie score? I aspire to be a 4 or 9 but in reality it's a solid 7 as I attempt to meet the energy levels set by a 5yr old Springer. I mean, what WAS I thinking?! It's great to be here!
OK, you got me Summer 😂 Bowie #1 because that is the Bowie I first knew via Robert Hilburn, LA Times rock critic who dragged me away from Led Zeppelin for an hour at a time circa 1972. Saw Bowie 4 times, different Bowie each time. Current mood, fun with Summer, stay in the NOW, and keep on an even keel through tumultuous times in the USA. I don't know how you manage the time to rock the Feral Stack with all your responsibilities and activities. Much admire.
Oh I'm definitely a 7 today. I should have responded to this yesterday when I was more like a 9.
I'm Cami Sheppard. I live in Seattle and am a retired mom of three amazing adult children. I wear a few hats now. I work with students as an educational coach/tutor in French and writing mostly, but I've been known to help with math, science and various other fields of study. I love working with high school students writing college essays. I'm a perpetual student of astrology and my Substack is about current astrology which often veers off into mythology and stories about whatever strikes me as pertinent to the moment. I call it Mercurial Musings because I have a Gemini Sun and Moon ruled by Mercury with Aquarius rising where Mercury is the night triplicity lord (that's fancy talk for Mercury's happy in Aquarius). I'm also an obsessive gardener. I love growing food and flowers, have to be making stuff and fussing with things constantly, and I would rather be outside than in.
Oh yeah, lived the rock’n’roll lifestyle/“philosophy” for several years. Working at record stores brought lots of free tickets, first in LA, then in Bay Area. Too late to see the Beatles live, but saw all my favorite greats and many others, every Rolling Stones tour from 1974-1998. Now I meditate and work on my spiritual self. ✌️
Also, I'm in Alaska, so I'm four hours behind the East Coast. Not late here yet, ha!
