When Pluto was last in Aquarius, we had the American and French Revolutions. Pluto is headed back into Aquarius next week, unofficially kicking off what I'm calling the Crucible Year.

The Bully Pulpit thinks it's a done deal. I look at the stars and say, Not Necessarily.

Let's get ready to Rumble!

Fellow astrologer here... I'm with you. There's more to the story. I don't know what but my charts and spidey senses concur.

Well Summer I feel crappy and sorely disappointed in our fellow citizens that they couldn't see or just chose not to see, because they believe their own self interests will be served! That's how I feel 😵‍💫

Yep. I tell myself its a privilege to care about democracy. Most can only care about their bills & any change is good change. 🤷‍♀️

Post election writing retreat Kauai. Poetry with Billy Collins. An antidote to grief! Salty tears dissolve in the salty sea. The moon floats above the palms and I relax into the moment. Love seeing your kiddoes in climbing helmets!❤️

I use my body to create art so I've been censored, shadow banned, and close to de-platformed from social media apps for over two years. Our First Amendment rights are already eroded by laws promoted and passed by Democrats and Republicans. Precedents have been set, and we've learned that it's easy to pass restrictive laws as long as they promise to "save the children" or "stop terrorism". I've seen several people quote the poem from the Holocaust Museum, "First they came for..." as a call to action. What people fail to see is that they've already come for so many of us, mostly women, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC, and no one did anything.

They came for them/us and some of us have fought back & many turned a blind eye. And now I’m so curious about how you use your body as art on your social media feed… And I following you?! if not, I should be!

Summer, you're the best. About two thirds of my content on Instagram is archived because was account could not be shown to anyone who wasn't already following me. I recently posted some racier stuff so I'm in IG jail again. I consider myself an artist, I curate my wardrobe, I come up with the concepts for my videos and photoshoots, I do my own hair and makeup and I'm also the photographer. I guess I'm a one woman show.

If you are curious, feel free to check me out if you don't already follow me. XO 🥰

It was a hard night alone traveling for work, watching the election results. Hard to reconcile the results unless I accept the power of media to assist with gaslighting.

Frank Zappa and Jerry Mander and Marshall McCluhan and Neil Postman all foretold the impending Idiocracy one way or another.

But gaslighting is gaslighting. It is damaging but it cannot withstand the test of time in a universe operating in reality.

Regrets and fears for the damage done and yet to come are legit. But so is the hope for a correction when reality sinks in. Not to be glib, but it’s just a matter of time.

Nov. 6 greeted my sleepy eyes with cups of strong coffee and a room full of young adults excited to explore renewable energy opportunities in a village strapped with crippling diesel power costs.

40 years in classrooms has taught me that students aren’t easily gaslighted. Postman called it their BS detector.

While we may fear for their future, the next generation is also our best hope.

Ah, another thing you and I share as we drift as polar opposites through life, you on the cusp and me at the end. Not quite, but I can see the end.

We escape to the desert!

Hey Sum, we went to Palm Springs right before the election. Did a great hike through a palm tree canyon on Native American land just south of P.S. the DJT movement is not Republican, like your Alaskan Gov. MAGA is a people’s movement which initially rose up in the south, vis a vis former Democrats. See how I did that? ✌️

Dems used to be conservative then it switched. Abe Lincoln was liberal. Dems & MAGAS don’t share any of the same political values.

Agree, MAGA is closer to a Third Party movement that rejects century old corruption, rejects Get in the gov’t club to get rich with the elites. Repubs and Dem politicians are both sold out to the Military Industry Complex. Politicians obtain office to join the money club. They don’t even write legislation. We pay experts to write it while Congress wines and dines in DC, and we pay for that too. The whole of our national gov’t is made up of rich talking heads. MAGA is about major reduction of gov’t to give us back our money & let us thrive - all of us.

I agree with u & that sounds great. Its all the other MAGA stuff I cant get behind. 💕
